No. All fees are non‑transferable and non‑refundable. Membership is for one family only.
Can membership fees change?
Yes. Fees and fines are reviewed annually by the committee and any changes are presented at the AGM.

Yes, we offer discounted rates for those with a Community Services Card or Gold Card
After joining, you will receive login access to MiBase, our online toy library system.
It is your responsibility to:
• Keep your login details secure
• Check due dates and renew toys if needed
• Check piece lists before returning toys
• Sign up for duties if you are on a duty membership

How many toys can I borrow?
• Standard allocation is 8 toys at a time (this may vary during the year)
How long can I keep toys?
• Toys are issued for two weeks
• Toys may be renewed if there are no reservations
What should I check before borrowing?
• Ensure all pieces are present before leaving
• Contact the Librarian immediately if something is missing
Members are fully responsible for toys while on loan. Toys may not be swapped with other members or borrowed on someone else’s behalf.
Please:
• Supervise children while using toys
• Avoid damage (e.g. pens, rough play)
• Do not leave toys outside overnight
• Use your own batteries and remove them before returning
Where do I return toys?
Toys are returned to the back room past the office upon arrival. Please return all packaging.
What if toys are dirty or incomplete?
• Toys must be returned clean and dry
• You may be asked to re‑clean toys before they can be re‑shelved
• Missing pieces should be reported at return
If toys are returned incomplete or damaged, they may be reissued to you for up to two weeks to locate pieces or clean them.
• Lost or broken pieces may incur a charge depending on severity
• Packaging (boxes/bags) is counted as part of the toy and replacement costs may apply
• If a toy becomes unusable, you may be charged a portion or full replacement cost
Late returns:
• $3 per toy, per week late
• Toys not returned after 10 weeks may be charged at replacement cost
Do I have to do duty?
Yes, unless you purchase a non‑duty membership.
How many duties?
• 4–6 duties per year depending on membership numbers
What does duty involve?
• Counting toys
• Using the returns system
• Helping members during sessions
What if I can’t attend my duty?
• Swap with another member or arrange a replacement
• Notify the library of any changes
Failure to attend a rostered duty without notice will result in a $40 fine per missed duty.
Families expecting a baby may request a three‑month break from duty around the due date. Please notify the committee at least two months in advance via email.
Membership may be terminated if:
• Fees remain unpaid
• Toys are repeatedly overdue without communication
• There is ongoing loss or damage of toys
Significant unpaid fines or unreturned toys may result in debt collection being pursued.
